It was a very stressful November & December financially for our family. Christmas for the girls almost didn't come. Thankfully we were blessed with many caring friends and family that stepped up to help & we had a very happy Christmas! God is good to provide for our precious family!
We had a lot going on since my last blog post, so I'll try to shorten it as best as possible!
Rosie has been such a blessing to our family & we are so thankful God sent her to us! She has settled right in and is such a sweetheart! She only has 1 flaw & that is that she has bad separation anxiety. As soon as we leave she gets very anxious. She has torn up the blinds twice, flipped out in the bathroom when we tried to put her in there, and when placed in our fenced in backyard, she has knocked a fence panel down & gotten out twice. We now have a crate for her when we leave, but she is still stressed and has rubbed her little nose raw on the metal door. We are looking into getting her anxiety meds from the vet to keep her calm when we have to leave.
A sweet friend took the girls for a PJ Polar Express Day with some other homeschool children! Santa came by for a visit!
Rosie loves her girls!
We went looking at Christmas lights & came across this crazy house!
We made a gingerbread house & train! It was fun!
Faith and her house!
Hope and her train!
Rosie loves her momma!
Sleeping in Faith's lap. :)
They got a Barbie for their reading award!
Christmas Eve! They got their Christmas Eve gift of new pjs, Dolphin Tale 2, and a cookies for Santa plate I made for them.
Santa came!!
It was a very blessed day! Thankful for our blessed Saviour! We had a wonderful day. Mom & Pops came over, the girls got great gifts, and we ate a wonderful ham dinner. After all of our struggles, I never lost sight of how very thankful I was. For a Christmas that almost didn't happen, it sure turned out wonderful!
We are extra thankful for Rosie. She has taken away all the pain from loosing Gynger, and has blessed our lives with joy!
May you all have a wonderful New Year full of blessings!
